Hi George, thanks for all the wonderful memories of Wezzie Rd. I lived at 35 Goth St., from when I was born in 1944 to when I left in 1961, next door to the Rivers family at 33. My family's name was Pritchard. I'm sure your aunts would remember my mum, Sarah and cousin, Charlie very well. I remember all your aunts and uncles very well. I remember the time Mr.Rivers, who was a bus driver in the early fifties, took us on a charabanc to Blackpool, one of the many street outings we had. David and I were great friends growing up. All the children in the street used to play together with games like rounders, until we broke a window and had to move to another part of the street. This happened often! It was a great neighbourhood and we all looked out for each other. I was wondering if you are able to tell me anything about David, where he now lives and how he is. I went back to Liverpool last year and didn't recognise West Derby Rd. The Grapes was being renovated, I thought, but it turned out it was being turned into another business, sign writing, I think. I could go on and on about memories, but I won't. Once again, thanks for all the photos.
