R.I.P Mate. Scruffys won't be the same and neither will Villa Park. Claret and blue were the colours for you, but you've left us now for pastures high, and joined old friends in the Holte End in the sky. Godbless Ian.

Was a good tribute last night, I’m just sorry for the reason it took place.
Met Ian's mom & dad, and told them what a special bloke he was, and though it's hard to bear, I really hope that last nights tribute helped them.
Ian was such a star, in every sense, and now that light is gone, it’s very noticeable.
I worked with Ian up to around 2003, we often went over to scruffs for a drink or 2 of a lunchtime, and I’d often see him of a weekend. I'm just sorry I couldn't make the funeral, as I didn’t find out the news until just before xmas.
“When we touch someone, we give a part of ourselves to them, and they to us.
That is why it hurts when they are gone, as a part of us goes with them.
Always remember that a part of them will stay with us forever”
RIP my friend.
Mash (Andy).
