That's an amazing list of her credits and that's only a fraction of her fantastic output. She will certainly be so well remembered for her contributions to the music that we love! |

Ellie was truly amazing and mere words do not do her justice. Her songs were are an important part of the soundtrack of our lives. |

I havent posted here in a while, as it seems most havent..... not sure why.... is everyone busy like me?? Anyway.... Ellie's death really depressed me, mostly because i had only recently reached her personally, before she died, and sent her a copy of a demo of hers i bought on ebay.... she never wrote me back about it so i have no idea if she ever heard it.... http://www.jerseygirlssing.com/RonnieRecordPage.html Ronnie's Record Page |

Good to see familiar names on Ronnie's site. I picked up an vinyl album called the "Leader of the Pack" The Ellie Greenwich Musical. Original Broadway Cast Album. Ellie's back liner notes: To all of those invovled in my life and music, a heartfelt thanks for making the trip form the Brill Building got the Ambassador Theatre possible. Music has been my life and this album represents many years of hard work with many people I respect and admire. Thanks to Liz McCann and Nelle Nugent for making Leader of the Pack a reality and to the rest of "the pack" for their endless support. And thanks with hugs and kisses to my new friend Michael Peters for takin my music from records to the stage and video. He's a thriller. Ellie greenwich It's 1985 on Elektra, double album. 24 songs listed with producers/writers Phil Spector and Jeff Barry among others. What a legacy. |

Nice to see Ellie is getting into the rock and roll hall of fame as a non-performer..... unfortunately too late for her to enjoy it. |
