Recently it has been learned that Barbara Evans, singer of "Souvenirs" and "Charlie Wasn't There", passed away in 2000. Who here is a fan of these two songs? I think that Souvenirs is one of the best records to come out of the late 1950's! wow! Barbara Evans was my mom! It would have been her birthday tomorrow. I was searching her name in Google and came across this posting. Thanks for still remembering her music all these years later, She was an incredible lady! |
