I just posted an interview that I did with Tracey Dey, one of Bob Crewe's two primary female proteges (the other of course being Diane Renay). It was Tracey's first radio interview ever. http://www.jerseygirlssing.com/RonnieRadioPage.html Ronnie's Radio Page |

I rate Marching Home as the greatest of her records-this is what her career was leading up to.Reminds me of Vikki Carr's He's A Rebel-which is in my opinion the SUPERIOR version http://groups.yahoo.com/group/highschoolpoppers Mostly girl singers of the 60s plus Beatles, instrumentals,a few guys |

Marching home reminds me a bit of "Walk This Way" by Aerosmith. Not so much in the tune as in the style. Of course the Aerosmith record came later (to be followed by Run-DMC doing the same song). http://www.jerseygirlssing.com/RonnieRadioPage.html Ronnie's Radio Page |

Ronnie, enjoyed Tracey's interview immensely, I remember buying "Teenage Cleopatra" back in 1963 and I have always been a fan. Interesting to hear her talk about her career and music. Great job as always on your part. Thanks!!! |
