Has anybody else picked up this great cd that the folks at ACE (UK) have put out? If so, I'd like to see your reviews of the cd before I post my own here... |

I love all 5 volumes but because of the lesser known great songs on this one,it's my most favorite of all. |

Have all 5 of these and have to say the current one has the worst sleeve of them all-girls who look like binge drinkers which makes this sleeve unlike its predecessors which showed cameos.Looks more like something out of a crime mag Its the usual thing you expect from ACE of the known and the unknown-some of the songs are unessential (Sarah Vaughan) but with 28 tracks there's plenty of variety. I should point out here that Patti Lace & the Petticoats are a different group to the ones called the Petticoats (who made Surfin' Sally and are available on THE PRINCESS PRINCIPLE)- but what sounds like a Shangri Las copy actually came first. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/highschoolpoppers Mostly girl singers of the 60s plus Beatles,instrumentals,a few guys |
