This is more of a ghost story.I don't know if any of you knew this,Acadian peoples were and some still are Supersticious peoples.my grandmother Marianne Thibodeau Mazerolle, was from Tracadie, but lived in Acadieville. she told us this Story, and she swore it was true, my grandfather, Luc. sold lumber to this man by the name of FidelFidel never paid for the lumber, and he passed away, a few months after his passing, they started to hear noises in the yard, it always happened after midnight,a team of horses would come in the yard, and they could hear someone unloading lumber, but no one was there.so of course, grandpa said it was Fidel. and he would'nt rest in peace until he was forgiven for not paying the lumber. So my grandfather, went to see the priest and had a mess said for him. would'nt you know the noise stop. now i don't know if its true. but i beleived my grandmother.???? so i guess that makes me a supersticious. Acadian. lol,,Also my grandma, was a healer.( Traiteur )Using home made remedies,Herbs and stuff.
