I shall share this story with you, my mother lived in the country and she met my father who had recently moved next door, so my mother and father would meet briefly when my mother went to get milk at her aunts who used to be a storyteller, and my father used to go there to listen. Anyway their encounters turned into getting married. My mother would meet my father on the bridge nearby and make plans. Now the priest didnt want to marry them my mother was only 14 years old, my father 9 years older. So they decided to take the train and go into the city and get married at the justice of the peace. Which they did, but when the priest found out about it, he went to where my parents were staying, made my mother go to her aunts and my father to go to his place. Then the priest contacted the bishop, who gave him permission to marry my parents. My maternal grandfather had been away and when he returned he was furious, so he went to my paternal grandfather's place and burned down his barn. And my mother and father avoided him, because my mother said if he had caught them , she doesnt know what he would have done.
