My mother told me that when Dad was newly married he was driving down our Main Street and lost control of his car, possibly a Model A Ford and back then they had a store called the Five and Ten Cent store, and Dad crashed his car through the glass windows and landed right among the Kewpie Dolls. Paul, my brother is 64 and has never driven, if he gets his driving license he gets Mom's car. grin. .we had an old car with a clutch and I learned to drive and got my license when I was 42 http://www.acadian-roots.com |
