I would like to share this little story with you, my late husband told me, that when he was seventeen years of age, his father bought him his first car. It was a 1936 Ford, it had rumble seats, a running board, and it was a nice car. My husband used to take the car out, and his friends would all get in and they would go driving in the country. My father in law used to be at the window when my husband would get home. Typical parents, they worried about their son. Then my father in law noticed that my husband was never turning in the yard, he would park the car on the road. Well that wouldn't do, especially in the winter time. So he waited until my husband came into the house, and he said "listen, I see that you are not parking in the yard, is there a reason? "My husband really was afraid to try, and he said no there is no reason. Well! replied my father in law, if you do not drive that car into this yard the next time you drive it, then you lose it. Next night my husband comes home , sees his father in the window, and he thought well I guess if I want to keep the car, I gotta try. So he stepped on the gas, and headed for the yard .He made it safe and sound......And he kept his 1936 Ford...
