Hi Brothers!As a chapter we are responsible for one window display each year (usually in the spring). I just wanted to get ideas for what we are passionate about, it can range from disease state awareness (i.e. breast cancer), potentially harmful OTC/herbal medications, or anything your imagination takes you. Please brainstorm and let me know what YOU are interested in! |

Medicare Part D - This is going to be a huge issue this winter and spring. The deadline to sign up without penalty(for a certain subset of the population) is May 15, 2006. We could be delivering valuable information at a key time. It would also help us to learn about this policy |

I completely agree with Mike. Also, following our brown bag this weekend, it seemed like diabetes awareness might be a possibility. The senior from the YMCA had questions about the kinds of snacks she could have, how exercise affected her blood sugar, why her neuropathy was different than her friends, how type 1 and type 2 differed, etc. But I like I said before, part D is the biggest issue right now. How does the poster session work? I know other groups do it too, and I'm sure someone else will say they want to do part D as well. Do we have to put in a bid or something? |
