I strayed ALL the way from North Providence to Johnston. We've been in Johnston since 1975. Also work in Johnston. |

I moved to Florida the day after graduation. In 1979, I took a trip to visit my older brother in Texas. Within one month, I sold my house in Florida, and moved to Texas. Been here ever since. http://www.pagesintime.com/ri NY System Hot Weiners & Other Rhode Island Favorites! |

I strayed only about 1800 miles away from NP - to Royse City, Texas, about 35 mi outside of Dallas. I was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base for a while in the Army, and soon discovered that I loved Texas. I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be able to move there some day though - I am living my dream and loving it! My wife I think even likes it here more than I do. We have truly been blessed beyond measure. |

Frank & I moved to Spring Hill Florida in 1980.My parents had moved to FL & every time we went to visit Frank hated going back to RI to the cold weather. We made the move, started our own business, raised two wonderful children & now we are grandparents. We've been blessed! |

Moved to Canton Street in Providence 3 years after graduation and lived in a 3rd floor apt over my great aunt and uncle for almost 10 years - it was great to have them living there and getting to spend so much time with them in their later years - my uncle joe died years ago but my aunt frances lived until last year = she was 97 years old and we had a very special relationship, friendship - I will always treasure those years together - then I met my husband David and dated for one year and married in 82 - I moved to Peace Dale in South County where I had always told my parents I wanted to live when I settled down - I got my wish. We always spent summers at Scarborough Beach and had a beach house there since 1966. Even though I always thought I would move away and travel more I guess I was destined to stay here - I guess I will travel in my later years and maybe retire in a warmer climate someday. God willing. |

We strayed all the way to sunny Florida 20 years ago. I miss my family terribly. We make several trips back every year to visit with the children, grandchildren, and all the rest of both our large families. We moved here for the weather. Marc is a golfer and the cold RI weather doesn't agree with his game. He was inducted into the Golf Hall Of Fame in RI last year and given an Honorary Membership to Kirkbrae CC. I think I'll get my wish to spend more time at home. See, it's still HOME! http://www.anniesdesugns.net art |
