For the third straight game the undermaned Flames have been mercy ruled yet again, this time 12-2 to the first place River Rats. In the previous two games the Flames lost 10-0 and 14-4. In all 3 games the Flames were undermanned and against the River Rats they were missing Captain Robby Demarco and team MVP Tim Snyder. The fans have become impatient with the losing ways of the Flames and are calling for a change in management. When asked why the Flames were struggling Flames resident tough guy Joe Cardaccio replied "FORD JEWELERS! FORD JEWELERS!" Hopefully the Flames can rebound and salvage this season. |

I do agree. Changes need to be made, the Flames need to get rid Rob and bring in someone who can shake the team up and please please get a new goalie I cant watch you guys on MSG anymore giving up over 10 goals a game. New goalie and new owner #1 Flames Fan |

I do agree the flames do need a new look and maybe could use another goalie, because this old man is wearing thin and cant play to many more games |

Ok… so allot of talk about firing me ... this is my 8th season as the Flames manager and 6th as its captain. Our winning percentage during my tenure is well above .500; I have 2 cup appearances, and 1 championship. The season schedule is extraordinarily hard this year and due to certain positional restrictions we have not had a full roster all year, making it extremely hard for us to be competitive. Jared has been playing very well for us and I find it unfair to cry out for a new Goalie, He filled in some very big shoes on very short notice, and he is a Monmouth Flame through and through. I have tried my best to bring in new talent and new ideas into this organization and I feel that my campaign has been a very successful one. After a nice win over the Gators on Monday I feel that we are headed back the right track and I see only success in our future. I thank you for your support and hope we can all weather the storm that is this season together. I leave you with this.. "Tough times don’t last, tough men do!" Go Flames! |
