Pinwheel Candy Ingredients 1/2 cup mashed potatoes 1/8 teaspoon salt about 1 pound sifter confectioners' sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup peanut butter Method Cook potato and mash; adding neither seasonings nor milk. Gradually stir in salt and enough sugar to form a easily handled dough. Add vanilla. On a board, lightly sugar with confectioners' sugar; roll half of the mixture into a rectangle 1/4 inch thick. Spread with peanut butter, roll up like a jelly roll. Make a similar roll with the remaining mixture. Chill first, then slice and place on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Yield: 4 dozen pinwheels http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=19425 Get Paid to Write |
