I am looking for information on my great grandfather - William Leonard (or Lennard) Ross. Family rumor that he was a Deputy Marshal in Payne County Oklahoma at the end of the 1800's. I have a photo of him with a star badge on his vest. Back of the photo says "Taken at Stillwater, Payne Co, Oklahoma August 1898. I can email the photo if requested. |
