I for one like listening to "At the Plate" w/ Big Nasty and know of several others that do as well. You are entitled to your opinion, but as the Proverbial writer wrote, "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt." |

I must agree, if you like Nasty's show then you must be intellectually challenged as Gary is. "At the Plate" is as terrible as Gary's grammar and his pronunciation. Ivins has no original ideas, he has no captivating topics, and he is as entertaining as bingo night at the nursing home. If you like his show then I must ask what do you consider to be a good radio show? It's certainly not "At the Plate". As much as I disliked Stephen A. Smith's show he was still better than the Big Nasty. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'. |

Ivins is dim bulb, he's welcome to play in our ESPN Fantasy Baseball Keeper League anytime. Ivins is clueless about the MLB and we could always use a doormat in the League. |

You hit the nail on the head Guru. If they don't player for the Astros or Rangers then Ivins has never heard of them and wouldn't be able to pronounce their name correctly. Half the time he botches the names of guys that play for the Astros. |

Does this surprise you? He butchers everyone's name, even if it's a well known name. I don't see how this guy has a sport's show, seriously. I'd rather listen to Stephen A. Smith for hours than this jackass, at least Smith knows what he's talking about. |

Does this guy know how dumb and idiotic he sounds? Maybe if he would just listen to one of his radio show archives, he would quit. I think he seriously may be the worst sports radio show I have ever heard in my whole entire life. |

I cant think of a worse one. I would rather hear Tony Kornheiser archived shows. Especially the one where he debated green olives versus black olives. Better than big stinkys show anyday. More substance ..no schtick...I aint sayin . Im just sayin. Cause thats how I roll. Up in here... |

Could only stand about 15 minutes worth of todays "show" . Once again no team but Lufkin has any class, No other coach has any class. Blah blah blah. Thank Goodness for David Smoak. Or East Texas sports talk wouldn't have any class. Also thanks to KTBB for having such a strong signal I can get Rush Limbaugh from 11 to 1 so I have an alternative to big stinky. |

all i will say is this.if your a lufkin athletic supporter then you should love the show if your from hudson or nac then maybe you hate it .if thats the case ,then turn it off and listen to a radio station that covers hudson and nac...the guy promos lufkin sports like noboby else |

Smoak goes to Cowboy training camp , Rangers training camp. He goes to the Super Bowl every year even when no E.T. teams are involved. Big stinky cant even get Bob Stoops when Smoak can get Wade Phillips and Jerry Jones. Yeah..Big Stinky is the best talk show host in East Texas. I dont think I've ever heard Randy Galloway, T.R. Sullivan , Mickey Spagnola , Norm Hitzges , Mack Brown , The professor John Clayton , etc . etc. . on Big Stinkys show. He can't get them!!! Yeah.......He's the best talk show host in East Texas....You can tell by how much he mentions espn1260.net. NEVER!!! That should speak volumes. |

First, any radio host from Tyler is not and does not consider themselves from East Texas. We all know people from Tyler consider their town "South Dallas". That being said, GARY is the BEST sports talk radio host in EAST Texas!! |

Easy Robbie, I think you drank too much of the Big Nasty's Kool Aid. Nasty sucks, his show sucks, his guests suck, & Lufkin High School sports is a lame topic for an ESPN affiliate. Nasty has to talk about Lufkin sports because that's all he knows about other than eating Whataburger, drinking beer, and gambling away his child's college fund. News flash for Nasty, Texas Tech will win the Big 12 before the Aggies will. Nasty is just brown nosing so he can get Sherman back on his pathetic little show.I wonder how much Gary's little brother Terry has to donate to the A&M Alumni fund to get Sherman to go on the Big Drunk's show. |

At times like these (it's 11am) I just have to reach for my remote and switch the station. I should think that the ratings for 1260 would be much better with the last hour of The Herd and the first of Tirico & VanPelt. At least those professional radio personalities (because they have personalities, unlike this Ivins guy...) make it worthwhile to listen. The production of At The Plate is horrible!! If you want better local sports reporting, pick up a newspaper or watch the news on TV. This show is horrible!! Please remove it from the airwaves!! |

I was hoping that Ike would make a tree would fall on Nasty's house and destroy everything he owns, then we wouldn't be able to do his horrible show.P.S. The Astros couldn't have played in Arlington this weekend, it was raining in Dallas for two days because of Ike. |

Usually when radio hosts talk about their personal life it's to tell a funny story. When Mr. Nasty does it it's to brag. He should talk more about his 1st failed marriage and his bookie operation, that would be good for a few laughs. |

I tell you, Wednesday and Thursday were incredible! I actually didn't have to change the station at 11 and got to listen to REAL PROGRAMMING!! Other than listening to JP telling us how Ivins spawned yet another future gluttonous, drunken gambler, it was great! How can we get 'Big Dummy' off the air permanently?? That would be awesome!!! |

Just keep turning the dial at 11 and let the sponsors know why is all you can do. By the way congrats to Gary on the birth of another child. I hope your wife and newborn are doing fine. Its not personal ....I just cant stand your "Show"... I always rooted for all East Texas teams to win until I heard you ...now I always root for Lufkin to lose. Ivins is a P.O.S. In America you have to have a license to drive a car and a license to carry a hand gun yet there is no way to keep people like Ivins and Sarah Palin from having kids. Ivins is barely a functional retard yet he keeps having kids. Hasn't he done enough to ruin America? Can't they just tape his show and air it from midnight to 2 AM. |

Lufkin should be lucky to have someone that can make a complete sentence. Most of you East Texas Yahoo's think graduating from the 6th grade is all you needk. Your goal is to buy a pick up and wear your overall to Wal Mart. Ivins is not the best I've heard but he does make some good points. |
