Many people have asked why we are not doing The Porch anymore.To reiterate, it was simply because the workload was too much to do morning news, prep, do the show, and handle all of the play-by-play duties and a choice had to be made.I've hated not doing the show anymore, but I've loved spending more time with the wife and puppy. Life is about change and how you adjust to it. That was always one of my underlying messages on the show. Who knows? There could even be a reincarnation sometime down the line.In the meantime, please listen to At the Plate with Gary, weekdays, 11-1, and give him a call. He's got a great mix of the local and national. http://www.espn1260.net |

I'm glad, The Porch was terrible. I subscribed to Sirius just so I wouldn't have to listen to you or Gary Ivins anymore. |
