I am the new (and 3rd, I believe) owner of a 1930 Erskine 4 dr Sedan. I have a real basic knowledge of the brand and know that it was short lived and made by Studebaker. The car ran a few years ago and my intention at this point is to clean everything up and get it running and driving again. It was painted in the 70s and still looks OK. I need pretty much any information I can get my hands on. I don't have it at home yet but will in a couple of weeks. There is a lot of stuff (books, parts etc.) that go with the car but I have no idea what is really there. I got it from the widow of the man that bought it in 1949. I guess the first thing I would like is info on the engine, a Continental 8F I believe. Any help at all would be great. Thanks, Steve
