It would be nice to get a pitch/clubhouse/facillties on par with the rugby club in kingsbridge. WHy hasn't it been launched yet then, when you wrote that article back in May 2006!? Am i miss understanding something here lol

Might have to edit it though. Andy (Moderator)	posted 9/10/07 9:03 AM Dartmouth mate. We drew 3-3, were 3-0 down after about 25 minutes, could and maybe should have won the game in the end. Good performance though and lots of positives to build on.

JD	posted 9/10/07 10:13 AM This is what one of the Bovey lads wrote on the sdl forum Gooner. You might want to use the info in it to write an article. Bovey Tracey 4 East Allington 1 I said it wouldn't be easy and it wasn't Allington battled to the end but Bovey's strength in depth told in the end. 1st half 'Ally' keeper made 2 great saves from Sneap and Bennett. But Bovey worked their way on top and Bennett followed up a Sneap shot to give us a 1 nil half time lead.Allington had a couple of chances in the 2nd half but Bovey remained on top. On 70 mins sneap made it 2 nil but 5 mins later Danny Tucker finished a through ball to make it 2-1. Pasoe replaced the injured French for Bovey and hannaford came on for 'Ally'. It was Bovey who struck next with Sneap heading home make shift left back Shaun Douglas's cross. In the last minute Bennett grabbed his 2nd to make it 4-1. The score was harsh on Allington although Bovey deserved victory. Allingtons best player in my opinion was the centre mid 'Pasty Edmonds'. Bovey all played well without hitting top gear.
JD	posted 9/10/07 10:23 AM I personally thought the first half was pretty even. We just lacked that cutting edge in the final third and didnt really make their keeper work. Them scoring the opener just before half time was a blow. Weeksy did make a couple of good saves. Coming off his line well to save at the feet of the striker twice. Second half was a pretty similar story, with Bovey having a greater share of the possesion. When we pulled it back to 2-1 it looked like we might get something out of the game, but Bovey re-instated there 2 goal advantage pretty quickly and then added a fourth late on. We played alright i thought, but just didn't really create the chances, too many people trying to do too much in the final third!

JD	posted 9/10/07 10:31 AM Bovey are in the same league as us - i think they finsihed second or third last year. They probably will be one of the stronger teams in the league, but to be honest i didn't think they were that good yesterday, but saying that they still beat us 4-1! lol As for us struggling, I can't see us getting relegated but aint gonna be challenging for the title either. There's been quite a few changes from last year. We've a very young side (i was the oldest player at 25 last week!) who hopefully will improve as the season goes on and in seasons to come if we stay together.

Andy (Moderator)	posted 9/10/07 10:47 AM Yeah did look nasty. Was about Si's first touch of the ball and i think the bloke just kinda caught him with his knee, i didnt really see it! I enjoyed sats game in the end, although when we went 3-0 down i thought oh no not again!! Made a difference having Sean and Duffy playing. Al Browne played really well in centre mid.
