Sturmey are bringing back their famous 3 speed fixed hub last made back in the 1950s. Could be fun if you knock the bar end shifter and change to the climbing gear when going at maximum speed down a steep hill.

Trev I used to ride in the 1948's on a prewar road bike with a Sturmey two speed fixed. It was fun because I could locate freewheel if I held the lever between 1&2. This meant only one hand on the bars. I cringe now when I think what could have gone wrong when bombing down Turnditch. Yuk Splat Goodbye.
