I'm a lance fan and don't mind to admit it. But even I think its bonkers to join Astana..... what does everyone else think?

I think it is my smartest move (since ditching Sheryl Crow at least) yet - Contador and Leipheimer are my biggest threats, and this way the sponsor gets me to win the tour in Astana colours whilst Alberto and Levi are made to ride to team orders and get a big payoff. Now, where is Dr.Ferrari's number.

I reckon Lance has decided if he could beat everyone when they were all cheating he can beat them when they are all clean. By enlisting the services of a top 'testing expert' and putting the results on the Web for all to see Lance is clearly out to prove he is a clean athlete now. Mind you, what a good way to stay one step ahead of the testers - employ them. Something to do with pipers and tunes. Employ your rivals, employ the testers, control everything. All Lance has to do now is buy into the Tour and have any teams that may be a threat excluded from the Tour.

Who saw the documentary on Lance the other week? The guy is doomed if he gets another fly in his eye. How many people had to help him out, the big jessie. My only concern is that the race may as well be called the, 'Lance de France' or, 'The Tour de Armstrong', cause lets face it, it's just gonna be all about him.

Armstrong wont ride for peanuts so I guess its about the team budget and how its divided up. A mate of mine who is no doper has actually used Dr Ferrari this year for a legitimate training plan and advice so lets not get too hysterical about these apparent bogey men. They are part and parcel of the global pro scene whether we like it or not! I do not condone doping but the trouble is that the testers have always seem to have been behind the dopers. There are some good books around that provide an insight into doping i.e. Breaking The Chain, Paul Kimmage etc and this is an activity that has always gone on. Does anyone believe that every pro win this year was done clean if not what percentage would apply and how did they avoid detection? Also what constitutes doping / whats not acceptable? Bear in mind that Vic Sinex contains a banned substance - would it help me win the Tour? (No need to answer that one!)
