Yeah why not? Also the following weekend there is Riber 10am, Beeley moor 12pm and Bank road 2pm. I'll probably do the first two. Probably be worth getting a team in if we can, as there is usually a prize for grabs. I was 11th at beeley last year and i'm crap at climbing, you've got to be in it to win it!!! |

I'm interested but could you let me have the organisers' addresses as I don't have a handbook and they are not listed on the website. Not promising anything as I will need to learn to stay upright on my CX bike first.Managed to fall off 4 times in Saturday's race ( and once when warming up) ; can anyone beat that? http://www.cyclingtimetrials.org.uk |

On further reflection I'll think I will do the 'triple HC's on the 19th rather than Monsal Head on the 12th.Beeley Moor should suit me better than the shorter climbs like Monsal Head. How many in a team? |

Just entered the 'triple' Hillclimbs on the 19th i.e Riber, Beeley & Bank Road. Spoke to Chris Mottram who persuaded me to send off an entry for the National HC as well, he currently has about 90 entries for the 150 places so there is still time to get your entry in before the deadline next Tuesday. |

I rode the National in the 50's. Edale up to top Mamtor on Tom Simpsons back wheel - he didnt mind lending it to me as my block was freewheeling both ways. The hard bit was getting my chain to stop on his block and riding home [well I was pushed, pulled and walked etc] Tom won the next one! |
