God Bless You Sister Workmen. I thank God that everyone is safe. I am a member of Christ Tabernacle Church in Brooklyn, NY. When Pastor mentioned that everyone was o.k. all I can say was "To GOD Be The Glory". I have spent mylife helping children in any way I could. I know that "CHO" needs financial assistance right now, however, I would like to know if you could use two volunteer to help in Haiti. My sister and I are planning a trip to Haiti to help some of the orphaned children. Since I have heard so many great things about your ministry in Haiti, we thought we should demonstrate our love for GOD and His children by caring for his littlest angles. Please let us know if you could use our help. Thank you and God will continue blessing and keeping you and your family under his prescious wings. P.S. Our father is from Haiti and it will mean so much to us to be able to give back. |

Thank you for your response. I also wanted to let MOM Workmen know that My father is from Haiti and I am interested in adopting children as well. I currently have a completed homestudy in NYC. I dont know how difficult it would be to do this now. I noticed that some orphans are being released into the united states. Please let me know if I would be able to accomplish this now or have to wait until things are better. I thank God for all that everyone has been doing at "CHO" May God continue blessing you all. |

There is an effort underway at this time to make it easier to get some of the newly orphaned Haitian children to homes. I am hoping to hear more about this initiative. When I do I will post it on the adoption page of the website. |
