Does anyone remember a bungalow colony with this or a similar name. I was a baby -- there with my parents from approximately summers of 1950-1954.

On the home page of this website in the very first paragraph the host mentions a "Schenks" so maybe he knows the place you are asking about.

Could it be Schenk's Paramount Hotel. It was located on Thompsonville Road which ran between route 42 and route 17, about 3 miles from South Fallsburg and 5 miles from Monticell. Ilived at the next hotel down the hill, the Commodore

I was a bellhop at the Schenk's from 1969-1971. I also graduated from Sullivan County Community College 1970

Shenks Paramount was built by my Great Grandfather Jacob Meyerson of Mountaindale.
