I've been looking for some of the people who worked at the hotel 1978-2001 and of cause any of the guest. It seems to be the forgotten catskill hotel!

It is not a forgotten hotel. It just seems to be in a forgotten area. I grew up down the road from the Raleigh, at the Commodore. Not only down the road but also several quality levels down also. our guests had enjoyable stays with slightly less comfort

I worked at the Raleigh from 1973-1976 as Asst Director of Activities. Last I heard it was sold to the Bobov sect.

My mother was Natalie Cohen - She was the Maitre d' at the Raleigh Hotel until her passing in July of 1992 (prior to that she was a waitress). I grew up at the hotel during the 70's and 80's. I will never forget my childhood and all the wonderful memories from both staff and guest alike.
