I worked there from 1980-1983 was a bartender in the Safari Lounge..Barry Fox,Jorg Mitzlaff,Mike Santoro,Mike Lyons,Heidi Prottas,Lisa Soloff,Frances,Abe Buchwalter,Mike Yeager,Tommy Wasserman,Kathy Van Benschoten,Janet Hannah..so many great memories and people.. its a shame whats happened to the hotels and the area now..anybody remember me or those people ?..would love to reconnect with some of them ... |

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the Nevele in 1063. Nevele was known as a honeymoon spot: "Four o'clock--time to go to the room and change your socks." We returned several times--last time was in the Eighties, by which time the hotel was getting pretty dog-eared. |
