Brian (Moderator)	posted 9/14/07 3:40 PM       Last night I had a dream about a film I'm planning on doing this winter, but it's kind of secret so I won't want to disclose any details =) We were at Phil's house filming, and my cousin and her husband were there as well. It was a very vivid dream, but it was not a lucid one. I might actually use some of the ideas that were in my dream in the film. I was working on the film before bed so that might have prompted the dream. I'm also curious to see if alcohol has any effect on dreams. Before bed I had a few beers. Sita	posted 9/14/07 6:01 PM     alright i just woke up from a crazy set of dreams that linked together. i know it started out in a nightclub but dont remember exactly what that has to do with the rest of it. then it skipped to my watching a family where the nanny was actually a robin williams type character from Mrs. Doubtfire (guy dressed up as a lady). watched them for a while then moved on to a museum where some guy was trying to get in. i had been watching the wsop (world series of poker) all day and the guy who co created the simpsons was competing and so he was the guy trying to sneak in. then i ended up back with some asian family where two of the kids were going up the escalator backwards. they end up getting to where they give their tickets and to the left walks past a school group including the kids from the doubtfire family earlier and i remember thinking wheres the Mrs. doubtfire character and then remembering shes a nanny and imagining the character dancing around in the house i had saw before and inwardly laughing at this thought before going back to watching the family. they ended up getting in but somehow went the wrong way and ended up trying to get in the doors for the exit that were one way. so i watched them heading back towards the entrance and then shifting my gaze upward remembering that it was a dinosaur exhibit. then transfer to the fun video game part of my dream. if you have ever played earth defense force it was the same view as that. there was a stegosaurus type thing i think but about five times its natural size along with a t-rex which was also five times the size. enter my favorite rocket launcher from the game. it was from the first person view but it was like i was telling someone else what to do. so ill just say its me for reference since that was the view. i started running around to get closer to them and in position when the steggy noticed me. it immediately started coming after me and i launch a rocket into its mouth and get a direct hit down the throat. i see the light of the explosion in its belly but it keeps coming. this is where i remember telling the person it takes two! so i keep backing up and running backwards around buildings while its chasing and then finally send another one down its throat to destroy it. then it goes to where im with the other person i was just in their head watching and telling them what to do. we end up next to a building that has the directions on how to get the dinos. also a timer has been set off letting us know the t-rex is coming and the steggy is done for good. there is a trailer there and i climb in from the top to find the other person with a clear bucket on their head filled with something to attract the t-rex. this substance is also all over the inside of the trailer. they climb out and i remember saying "should i get out too?" as the t-rex grabs the trailer and flips it over blocking the exit. they yell back i should and i let them know i cant now (i know i wondered at this point duh did you not just see the gigantic t-rex do this right in front of you?). i was hunched next to the exit waiting for the t-rex to move it again and then realize hes picking it up and going to put it on the building that had the directions on it. this is where i decided i didnt like where the dream was going so i remember thinking that he put it down next to some white bridge which resembled my shades over my window. then i realized i was awake looking at my shades and looked at the time and figured i didnt want to go back to the dream just because i didnt want to figure out a way off that building or how to destroy they t-rex with only three rockets. it wasnt lucid really i think when i finally did start thinking about the fact i was dreaming is when my body woke up and opened my eyes putting the white bridge in my dream. i knew i was dreaming for most of it but usually i just let the dream go on its own and be amused by it, and i definitely liked the video game part a lot before the whole building part. sorry if that was too detailed but i tend to remember my dreams vividly.
billy	posted 9/14/07 10:46 PM     i had one dream in which i woke up and spent an hour searching for a pad of paper and pencil to write down my dream. all my paper had vanished and all my pencils were borken. the cats were going crazy running around and there was alarms going off. i was under the pressure to write my dreams before i forgot them, meanwhile Kelsey was sound asleep in bed. it was funny also, because when i did actually wake up i assumed i had previously woke up to try to write my dreams....but that was just a dream memory.
