Unfortunately, I do not remember any of my dreams from last night, which is odd for me. Therefore, no lucid dreams for me last night. I'm curious to see if the weeekend will bring in different results than a typical weekday.

Okay, this is weird. Right after I posted this, I signed onto AOL Instant Messenger and something triggered my memory about a dream I had last night.

I saw a friend of mine online and she was in the dream - it's weird how I suddenly remembered because when I woke up this morning I had no recollection.

There isn't much to the dream, but I dreamt that I was at the dorm I lived in at the U, and she stopped by and wanted me to hang out with her at her house. I agreed do it, so we left on a motorcycle. I dreamt that I kept doing wheelies on the motorocyle, and that it was really hard to control. There was also a ton of traffic. For some reason, I was 'working' at the time, so I told her I had to get back because I wasn't on my lunch break, and I was worried my bosses would wonder where I was.

That is pretty much all I remember. I really want to try to remember to check the time in my dreams and/or ask myself if I am dreaming, but since I've had no control over my dreams yet it's pretty hard to do.

YES! I finally remember some of dreams. I had a similar experience where I woke up with no recollection of dreams, but all of a sudden as I was trying to set my alarm to snooze a few more minutes I remembered my dreams.
I have them written down at home. So I will need to record them tonight when I return home.

(warning. this is word for word what i wrote this morning and barely makes any sense at all, i dont even remember what most of it is even referencing, i will explain the parts i remember below)

sky opened up. gates/grid above it. pat drunk. too happy/ go in for self test. Bar w/ Lori, eating food, accidentally leaving bar tab, she thought i was drunk,

huge log, Shandra was on it, pushed down hill, Smashed car, almost rammed a police car

(so i dont remember most of this. i do recall these tidbits more fully)

I do recall the sky opening up, and it looking like the world was a simulation or holagram.

the log part was crazy, because it was raining at my parents house, in the alley. a huge branch was in the alley, almost the exact branch that fell on Pat Sr. house a few weeks ago. Shandra, the model i bodypainting was lying on the log for some unknown reason. we decided to then push this huge 4 ton, 15 foot log donw the big hill at the end of the alley. since it was raining so hard it was like a riving and it took the log whooshing down. it caught a current and went extremeelt fast and veared towards a parked car and absolutely annihilated it, with Shandra still riding along on top completely unphased. im not sure what the cop car had to do with the dream.

it was not even close to lucid. but pretty fucked up anyways.

Billy I think your new word 'extremeelt' should be adopted by all!

I finally managed to write down my dream notes, but like many here, it didn't make much sense when I reread it. (I went to bed right after being online a long time, so my dreams were about the web.) I was looking at a webpage and there were 4 links on it surrounded by a vast area of white space. I was questioning why I pressed one of the links. I looked at the clock and thought "that can't be the right time." Whereupon I woke up to check what time it really was. When I looked at the actual clock the time didn't match the one in my dream. (There was a truck with squealing brakes outside my window, the noise of which is probably what actually woke me up.)

The second dream I knew way more details of at first and I can still picture it in my mind. (Does anybody else have that - you can visualize a few frames of the dream, days afterward, without really remembering much else??) There was a cliff to the left with a waterfall and whitewater rafters were being pulled across the lower area in front of the falls, by a rope, which a guy pulled to cause them to go across. A woman screamed, but she was excited not scared. Below the image was a different article about something else. (another webpage I guess.)

i also have the few frames thing. i dont seem to have any memory of how my dreams connect or relate to each other. i feel very much like i just remembering pictures from a book of my dreams as opposed to actually remembering themanywhere near their entirety.
