Matthew	posted 3/28/08 6:24 PM       Watching PBS late lat night and watching this special, i was frozen in my seat. i could not move the hour. The story and music was uplifting, and I felt like I was in the middle of the singing. What an impact. This is our American Heritage. I am a student at Appalachian State University, and the University has Sacred Harp plus all the music of the mountains.Thank you for an uplifting evening. I had tears in my eyes. This close to the Gregorian Chant that we sometimes have at our Catholic Mass. I would like to find some Advent and Christmas Hymns for our Mass.
Linda	posted 4/25/08 3:14 AM     I saw it in December and was struck the same way...wanted it to go on and on. My Mother was from Alabama and I remember her telling me about "singings". I wish I had paid more attention. The music is so unique and touches every part of my soul.
