Yukons LB Rocko Busto had just batted down a pass on 3rd and 6 bringing up a very crucial 4th down for the Goatmen. Down 20-18 with NY on thier 38 yardline and severe sidewinds blowing the Bombers decide to go for it. NY QB Wafford rolls out and sees a streaking WR Reimers on the sideline. LB Busto in a zone reacts just a little too late but the ball is underthrown and Busto recovers in time to bat the ball away again!!!! ....but wait out comes the flag!!!! defensive pass interference!!! 1st and 10 on the Yukon 10. HB Lageman takes it in 3 plays later and NY is up 27-18. Coach Charlie C is seen jokingly taking money out of his wallet and putting it in the backpocket of the ref who threw the flag. It was being shown on the Jumbo-tron and Coach Wang told his players to look at it and how the crowd was making them the joke or something philisophical like that. Most of the players cant understand coach Wang with his broken English but they got the idea. with 2:20 left in the 4th Goatman QB Brock Burley took Yukon 80 yards in 5 plays in the no-huddle eating only 48 seconds. Down 27-25 with 1:32 left and all 3 timeouts remaining it was up to the vaunted Headbutt defense to defuse the Bombers. 2 runs for -1 yard and a screen for 4 burned up all the Goatmen timeouts but they were getting the ball. HB and PR Tito gaves a nice 25 yard return to start on thier own 44 with :57 seconds remaining. 4 plays later Burley spikes the ball on 1st and goal at the 2 with :18 seconds. Yukon scores on the next play taking a 32-27 lead. Bomber QB Wafford runs a 24 yrd bootleg as time expires.

The Buckets Win A Tough Road Match Over Metro
City, 24-21

Giants Stadium, New York- The Buckets came to town trying to rebound from the tough loss to the
CryptKickers and ran into one of the best passing offenses online in the FBPro community
in Mike Pizutti's Metro City Maulers. L.A. made the huge D and O plays when it counted,
though- and in a back-and-forth contest they prevailed, 24-21!

Notes: CB Lon Thompson recorded his 3rd INT in 3 games.
Derrick Nay's fumble for a TD for the other team was his second in two weeks...

Great game coach Pizutti!

L.A. Post Game Interviews:

CB Lon Thompson, on his 3rd Interception in 3 weeks- "Man
that was tight. We only blitzed a couple times in the 1st half and for once we got enough
pressure on their QB that he threw a bad pass- and I was hot on that play- so my eyes lit
up and I saw plenty of open turf in front of me after snagging it."

QB Derrick Nay, on his 2nd fum,ble for an opponent's TD in 2
weeks-
"That sucked. I dodn't know what it is. My ratings on my hands are good.
We even worked on that in Training Camp. Both times their guys just hit me and had endzone
right behind them. It blows. But we rebounded and were able to get some nice pass plays
connected- and the run game opened up too, thankfully!"

Coach Tando, on the gutsy road win, "This was a
great win for us. We have scrim'd with Metro City several times and both teams knew the
other pretty well. He gambled on 4th down and lost both times. We got lucky and made it
just barely on our lone 4th down call insdide their Red Zone. That may have been the
difference right there. Pizutti's a great coiach with a passing Offense that is almost
unstoppable. He willl win a lot more games this year, easy."
