Faster Pussycat w/ Steven Adler's Band (formerly of Guns N Roses), Bang Tango and the Waterloo based LyinHeart will be at The Chrome Horse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on July 22, 2006 outdoors. Were not sure of show times or cost, but this will be a great show and not to be missed. I'm planning on being back from Mizzou in time to get to this show, but hoping for about a 9pm start time or something like most club shows. I think Bang Tango are the guys actually backing up Adler and maybe Chip Z'Nuff on bass. That would be fun to see. I heard a really early start time like 5PM with the show over around 10PM and I heard that Bang Tango to open with Lyin Heart playing second not sure about Adler / Faster Pussycat closing the show. If you haven't heard LyinHeart check out their myspace page @ www.myspace.com/lyinheart their different and I'll be honest I did not like them at first but over the last year I really grew to like them and they put on a high energy show and Ted (vox) is just nuts. http://www.freewebtown.com/waterstockrock/index.html Waterstock 2007 |

That totally blows!! First of all, no band will get to use lights! If they are done by 10pm, FP and/or Adler's Appetite will only have lights for maybe a few songs or so that they will really look good under. Secondly, it sucks because I won't be back to Des Moines until about 6-7pm. Then if I make the drive over, it would put me there a couple hours after that. With only 3 actual bands playing and Adler just doing a few tunes, it might make sense to start at 7pm or 8pm, but certainly not 5pm. I hope I can make this show, but as early as they are having it, that just sucks! I'm actually more anxious to see Bang Tango since I was hanging with Steve Summers last time and missed most of their set. Of course, hanging with BT until 5AM was pretty cool. :) Hope they decide against the 5pm start and go with 8pm or so!! http://spaces.msn.com/sonofapreacher |
