Who would you like to see at Waterstock 2007? Remember their talking about a two day event so you can image it starting Friday early Afternoon and ending Saturday Night. I would like to see some serious answers, and not some bands that would never appear no matter how much we would like to see them. Here's a couple that I would like to see just off the top of my head Whitesnake Tesla Skid Row (Should Close First Night) RATT (Reunited!!!) Motley Crue - Tribute Band Naked Beggars LA Guns Faster Pussycat Evick The Gibbs Brothers (Eastern Iowa) 20/20 Hindsight (Northern Iowa) Cold Filtered (Central Iowa) http://www.freewebtown.com/waterstockrock/index.html Waterstock 2007 |

How about Twisted Sister? How about NO tribute bands. :) If we can get all original bands for it, that would be VERY cool. Even have Cold Filtered do an original only set. We could get the regional bands over on the side stage and the main bands on the main stage just alternating all day. http://spaces.msn.com/sonofapreacher |

Twisted Sister would be very cool. I think tribute bands are fun and always seem to get the crowd excited. Could I live without one yes, but I think a very good tribute act would go over very will with the majority of fans. http://www.freewebtown.com/waterstockrock/index.html Waterstock 2007 |

I'd be all for Whitesnake and/or Scorpions being a headliner or co-headliners. Great White is a band that is due for a stop in Des Moines. Winger anyone?? They may not be "cool" but they have some great songs. Hopefully the'll stumble upon some up and comers agin like Lorenzo and Endeverafter. I can live with the cover and tribute bands as there is a market for it. Plus I need some downtime for what is a looong day and they provide something to listen to during my break. Tesla, Firehouse, Mike Tramp/White Lion and Warrant (only with a sober Jani Lane) would also be welcomed as a part of next years Waterstock line-up. However, as much as I'd like to see someone new I'd pay again to see either Cinderella or Bret Michaels and Poison. They put on a hell of a show! |

Left out my "echo" for LA Guns and Faster Pussycat. |

I agree! Best of the last 3 even for the next Waterstock. :) Great White is due for a stop... Oh, man, Winger is working on a new CD!! Hope they tour the heck out of it in places like Des Moines. So you guys really want a break in the day? HAHA!! Yea, I'm old enough to need that, too, so I guess a tribute band would provide that for me. Although, I had a burger during Dokken... http://spaces.msn.com/sonofapreacher |
