I'm home a few days now after all the travelling we had to do but still in awe of a once in lifetime experience. I had a great time meeting up with old friends and making some new friends. Well done to Sinead on getting her black belt, Third in Individual Fighting and First in Team Fighting. Kevin (The Rev), I hope you'll travel with us all again and keep the craic going. Thank you to organizers of the IKC Mexico for making us feel so welcome and to Topo, Fufu, Mario, Carlos, and the rest of the crew for driving us back and forth from the US. Unfortunately, I don’t think words can describe all the experiences we had during this trip and I don’t think we’d have enough space to post it all. The competition was to a very standard, the atmosphere and good sportsmanship like conduct only made it even better. This was my first time as a brown belt attending seminars and I’m just blown away by those sharing their knowledge, thank you, Mr. Gilbert Velez, Mrs. Doreen Cogliandro (Mrs C.), Mr. Bob Liles, Mr. Frank Soto, Ms. Kathy Long, Mr. Raymond Daniels and Mr. Ward. It was a great pleasure to see Mrs C., Anthony, and Sita again. Please if I leave someone out it is not intentional there was so many people we met from other countries. It was good to catch up with some old friends from Spain (Fernando), to see some familiar faces from Greece and Holland. It was great get to know some new friends from Jersey (Mich and Jules) and the rest of their teammates. Don’t worry hopefully when we visit Jersey next year you won’t have to listen to gang at the back of the bus who won’t sleep, I’ll be in contact and thanks for the kind words in your post. Hopefully you’ll visit Ireland soon. Finally to my Kenpo Family, John and Pat (The Boss), thank you for the support, encouragement and being a part of my journey.
