Game will be held behind Pucillo Gymnasium on the spoils field. KO has been bumped back up to 11AM due to field limitations on how late we can use it. Were looking forward to seeing everyone there

So..... why aren't we playing at Stayer Field? And are the women playing at 11 AM, or are we still sticking to the schedule where the men play first, then the women play, then the men play again, then the women play again? Are there even going to be enough alumni there to field a side? Just wondering. I'll be there regardless.

Stayer Field no longer exists. The Spoils is our regular practice field (but not the most ideal game field.) We were going to have the women's game at 2:30, but we have limited time to use the field, so we got bumped back up to 11am. We were expecting enough to play, at this point, I am not sure because we havent heard back from people about their intentions. I hope there will be enough to play and we have every intention of making the numbers work and having a game even if we need to play lesser numbers or sub out the alumni side with regular millersville players

I am not so sure about the numbers! Most Alumni who are expected to show up are playing for Brandywine and Lancaster, and both teams have scheduled games at 11.00am on the same day. That's why we were hoping for a later time! Why can't you use the regular Lancaster Rec fields?

The Roses were scheduled to use the field to play SR but that game jsut recently got scrapped. The use of this field is for a couple reasons i think.... large group, rowdy group, easier to find for the old heads who are expecting it to be at stayer, etc. I think we will have numbers to start. A good number of girls expressed interest in the game from out of state, not playing anymore, etc so I still think there will be the numbers, maybe just not the competition level that there could be. I talked to smoker though, and hes skipping the roses game to come to alumni. . . This year is not just a regular alumni game. Its also a benefit and fundraiser and a day to mourn and honor Paul "Sugar" Rodgers, Ville rugger that passed a few months ago. selling t-shirts, food, mugs, jerseys, etc with almsot all proceeds going to his childrens trust fund. So keep this in mind and bring you wallets to help us support his family and honor his name.

It doesn't sound like there will be enough alumni to play since the time has changed, but I'll see you guys later on after B-wine's match!

Sorry to hear that the time changed again and that Lancaster and Brandywine cannot make it now. I will still be coming up to play though and look forward to visiting with everyone.
