Hey everyone a few days ago i found another toad in my pool which is half full and is underground and i always have to keep taking them out cuz they cant escape but my dads going to put the pool cover on soon, anyways i decided to keep the toad and im going to keep him in my old toad cage in my room until the next summer, right now i have some special kind of dirt from the petstore that you put in hot water and it expands within 30 minutes and 5 rocks and a water dish with a backround around his aquarium, ive had him since last night and hes just been burrowing himself into the dirt and doesnt come out at all and today i tried feeding him some slugs i found in my backyard which i put on a little plate in his cage and i put him on it but he didnt eat it. i just wanted to give u an update

Well, burrowing all day is normal, especially this time of year. Eating this time of year is usually only stimulated with heat and light.
