Right now, I'll say my favorite sci-fi engineer is David Kano from Space: 1999. Though he is often referred to as the "computer specialist" of Moonbase Alpha, he is also head of Alpha's technical or engineering section and therefore I count him as being an engineer. As for a favorite real-life engineer, I haven't decided yet. |

I remember Space 1999 but couldn't watch it. Pre-cable days. Is anyone playing it now? |
