*Fin was high up in a tree waiting.... and wondering if just leaving without saying a word and going it alone was the right thing to do, after all alot had happened since he joined the hunt and found out about things. how long had he spent in the spiders web he couldnt be sure but what he did know was that his people were broken and that he along with the rest of the hunt were the last true ones left. just then a noise from below, Fin fell from the tree an axe in each hand. the two axes hit the dear below right on the head spliting in two, the dear fell on the ground, very much dead. well he thought at least i will eat well tonight, hope the others were ok. Fin pulled the axes from the head of the dear and cliped them to the side of his belt, he then started to haul the dear back to his camp and back to the fire.* |

*sometime after Fin went to sleep and just as the fire is dieing down to embers, a noise can be heard, a twig braking, something moving towards fin's small camp. fin wakes up and smeels the air, he puts on his wolf helm and picks up his two axes by the gap between the hilt and blade, fin gets to his feet but stays low to the ground. alone wolf stalks into the camp, fin stays downwind so hecan not be smelt by the wolf and slowly starts to circle round the beast. the wolf looks up, and sniffs the air, fin freezes on the spot, can he smeel me? he wonders. the wolf gets low ready to pounce, he has smelt him thinks fin dam it! they start to circle each other, then at the same time both man beast leap at each other. they both land with a thud claw marks on fin mark where he got hit, fin knew without looking that he had handed the wolf a deadly blow. fin then heard a howl, no it couldnt still be alive? not after the blow he delt, could it? fin spun round on the spot and saw that yes the wolf had made and with out a mark on it. the wolf looked at him and then started to walk off before breaking into a run. is this some kind of test thought fin, maybe, if only the others were here but they are not its just him and him alone. fin looks at the moon and sees how clear and bight it was. "tonight is a good night for a hunt" fin smiles and puts on his fur, he then makes sure the fire is out. he then goes to where the wolf disapperd and smeels the air and looks at the ground before moving off deeper into the woods. |

*fin stops in his tracks, dam it he thinks the wolf tracks are getting colder. He looks around for some sort of clue just then FLASH lighting BANG thunder and then the heavens opened up rain pouring down. Fin looks around for cover and spots a small hill FLASH more lighting but this time as it lit up the hill fin can see the wolf standing on top, he smiles to him self. Fin sets off at a running pace towards the hill the rain soaking his fur. The wolf is waiting for him, fin gets on all fours and bows his head. The wolf nudges him and fin looks up into the eyes and the wolf slowly starts to walk off, fin follows just behind.* |

*after what seems like weeks of following and hunting with the wolf, they both come across a small clearing in the woods. there is a man standing in the middle, he looks up when he hears fin approch. "so you come to claim my sword do you?" he holds up the sword, it has teeth running along from the hilt up to about half way the rest is a blade, set near the hilt above the teeth is an eye. the overall look is of a wolf in sword form. fin looks at the wolf, it nods. fin un-clips his axes and with out saying a word runs at the man. he lifts both the axes above his head and brings them down, the man blocks them. fin quickly swings one of the axes away and slams it into the mans leg. he screems with pain. fin then moves the sword away with the other axe and with a spin aims both axes at his neck, the mans head flies off, blood going every where. fin smiles, clips his axes to his belt and then picks up the sword. he lifts it up over his head, the wolf howls. they then both walk away back into the woods.* |
