*Carry on from here dudes*
After Thanas sets out his bedroll, and Goldar walks off into the darkness, Jonas Walks around the makeshift camp, all ways looking out for movement in the dark, or listening for the sound of anything trying to approach. Although he notices nothing, he cant shift the feeling that something was watching him. He knew by now that wherever one of the ghostwalkers travel, that a spirit would be near. Not to mention Goldars blood brother, Zakk.
"I hate the feeling you spirits give me. Why do u always try to make me uncomfortable? One day ill make sure i'll be the one putting you on edge."

Apon hearing the ghostly voice, Jonas spins, looking in all directions, not seeing anything but the dark night.
"Damn you spirit! why do you always do that?" Muttering under his breath he takes a seat near a tree, deciding if he has to spend the night with a ghost, watching for unwanted visitors he may as well be comfortable.
"so which one are you then, spirit? i assume you mean to harm, otherwise i'd most likely be running for the hills a bit faster than normal."

I am Ruadan, brother to Thanos, tribe to Nyx and Balora. And you are right I mean no harm here amongst friends of the Ghostwalkers. You have proven to be a true friend to our tribe,if a little foolish at times, perhaps you should check that a person is at least uncoscious before trying to remove their valuables, but that was between you and Thanos and as Thanos bears no ill will to you niether do I.

Jonas, reddening at the mention of his attempted thievery, shifts uncomfortably on the cold earth.
"By the fact that i was caught prooves i am no thief. It gladdens my heart to know that Thanas holds no ill will. What i tried to do was out of desperation, several days i had gone without food. One of Shelons faults was late payment. If i could go back, i would rather starve than steal."
At the mention of food Jonas's stomach starts to grumble. He picks himself up from the floor and walks to his bag, removing a small piece of dried meat and returning to his sitting place.
"Dammit, Spirit, now you have me thinking of him again. Do you ever see old Shelon around or does he finally have peace? i wish i knew why connor stopped tending his wounds. Hells man, ill never forgive myself for that."

Goldar of the Linovel

Goldar sat in silence, lips moving in a mantra of prayer, meditating on the future, on the path the Great Bear had laid before him. With a deep breath and final silent word he opened his eyes to the dream plain, its strands flowing out like fine filagree coating the world's surface, flowing out into the darkness. As his breathing slowed he walked the dream plain, watching, knowing but never changing. He envied those who could use its powers, for all his strength, he could not manipulate the threads to his will, he could but walk their silken pathways, a passenger upon the flow.
As he walked, the timeless, disjointed scenes like images in rippling water became concrete, scenes of such vividness that there was nothing of dreaming about them. But eventually the pattern would break, regrouping to show the scene advanced in time.
He grew older, wiser, stronger as he walked, following the same path he walked now. But suddenly he was the Bear, and beside him walked the Elder Wolf, his teeth as deadly as any axe; a creature of the Mists; a Warrior recgonised by all as a protector of the Peak; a Ghostly warrior who's sword bore the blood of hundreds of Sailor's sons; a hardened warrior of the Planes; an archer who's arrows bore great magic; a hunt that numbered dozens, each a mighty hero.
And it was gone, and he stood, his teeth dripping blood, his body covered in deep scars, but he felt none of this, as before him stood the Wolf Warrior, a mighty axe held high, and the floor was drenched in blood. They came together, their roars echoing off mountains even the Kami couldn't name, and the world shuddered beneath them.
But again it was gone, and now he was his Kami's own, alone in the wilds, watching over his people, watching and waiting for the next to follow the Great Bear's path, watching as another son of the Crags fell from grace, disillusioned and angry, full of power but blinded but hate.
Goldar travelled onwards, his footsteps silent against the threads of the dream plain until he could go no further. The threads gripped his feet. Night after night he trod this path, and night after night, the silken weaves beyond always escaping his tread. Gritting his teeth he struggled like a fly in a spiders web, but try as he might, the plains beyond always eluded him. Sighing, defeated once again, he turned for home, as dawn broke over the camp.

as time went by, Jonas started to tire, his swings becoming weaker and less focused, his temper still raging. Thinking of revolution thieving from his friend while he lay bleeding to death on the floor still in his mind, he took one last swing using the last of his strength. The magical blade clove straight through a thick branch. Looking at the fallen limb of wood, a vision flashed into his mind of the weapon he was to create. Picking it up, he tested it for strength. It seemed near unbreakable.
"Even in my rage you have shown me my way. I will use this as you have shown me."
Taking this piece of wood to the fire, Jonas looks at it by the light of the flames. It would suit the purpose he intended for it well. Placing it next to his pack, he sat on the hard ground and offered thanks to The Wise Wolf.

Morning broke slowly over the camp, and Goldar awoke. Pulling himself to his feet he looked to the new risen sun, low over the horizon. He shivered in the sharp cold air and turned to face the rest of his Hunt. Shaking his shoulders and dew wettened hair, he padded down the hill and back to the fire, waking the last of the band. Turning to Thanas and his companion he nodded a welcome.
"I hope you rested Thanas, it's time to leave. Our destination is still far and we have many miles to make today."
As the Hunt rise to their feet, packs on back, Jonas walks out of the treeline, a thick wooden pole carried on his back. Goldar nods in welcome and turns to face the Mountain, and, without a word, walks North, towards the mountain.

On the past days travel, the hunt and Thanas walked at a steady pace, yet nobody spoke to Jonas after the first few attempts, as all they recieved were short one word answers, if any at all.
As the day went on, Jonas's mood, caused by the information gained from the spirit, did not alter. So many thoughts rushing through his mind, it was difficult for him to focus and keep himself on the right track.
"damn Denelar for making us take this journey! Why was he such a fool? Now because of him, we are walking in a direction we pray is homeward, along a path infested with beasts and dragons, to hopefully divert a war caused by him in the first place!"
Jonas turns to his side and slams his fist into a tree, making his knuckles start to bleed.
"Why must we be tested so much?" Looking to the sky, Jonas screams "WHY MUST YOU TEST ME?"

Thanas walks over to his companion, his cool solemn temprement may perhpas have an affect on Jonas. Placing one large hand on Jonas' shoulder, he speaks words from his own wisdom to aid his friend. "Jonas, you yourself know the answer to that question. We are tested so that we may follow our path with greater courage, greater conviction. We pass the tests and move on closer to achieving that which we seek, wether Ghostwalker or Linovel. If we are not tested, how would we know we are worthy?" Although the tribes have very different paths, there are some things in life that stay the same, tested by the Prophet, or tested by your god, some things always ring true, no matter what, A lesson that took Thanas many years to learn for himself. He pats his friend on the back and laughs in an effort to lighten his friends mood. "Now come we must journey onwards, for I have left my biggest test on her own, and that may have been a poor choice, no doubt Nyx will be getting herself into mischief already!"

"People will one day never even have to guts to interupt me, ill make sure of that."
Sitting by a tree, Jonas takes his newfound pole from his back, and inspects it again. Standing, he swings it in a arc, testing the weight and grip.
"Im going to need tools to work you with. I hope the Elders can give me some insight into how to make you."

"Jonas, do you not see his talismans, his markings? He is a guardian of the mists and a shaman from the Mountain. Have we not been expecting messangers from the Elders? A messenger with news that there is still time brings new meaning to our march north, we are not too late, war is far from certain.
"Now, calm brother, for you have my apologies. But now is not the time for rash tempers and violent intent. We have several days travel left to go, and we must march as one into Linovel lands. Will you walk at my side, as my battle brother?"

You know im all for 'violent intent' as you put it, you should know this."
A big grin spreads across Jonas's face and he finishes speaking as he grabs Goldars arm in a warriors grip.
"To death or glory, we shall march side by side into battle, or the pub. Whichever is closer though, im a bit tired."

Goldar stood some way from the Hunt, knife at his waist, club on his shoulder, looking at the mountain to the north. It grew closer with every passing day, but no detail was clear yet. He could but hope that the armies of the Linovel elders, hungry for retribution for the death of their beloved Denelar, had not yet marched southwards. For if they did, then the news they carried would be useless and war would come, and the honourable men and women who fought to save Denelar's life would have done so for nought.
Turning back to his band, the shaman still in discussion with Jonas, he walks back to sit with them, taking his share of the provisions. "we're getting close and the army has not marched yet. We may be in time."

Drifting off into a deep sleep he sees himself before the fire of a great forge he stands staring into the roaring flames, losing himself in their firey dance. Regaining his senses, with a large heavy hammer in his strong hand, he strikes a thick lump glowing hot metal, trying to shape it into the vision shown to him in the dream he would never forget. Again and again he raised his hand, sending the hammer into the mass of bright steel, sending sparks flying in all directions, some landing on him and burning out yet he did not even notice as his mind was in another place. The place of the Wolf.
Turning over in his furs, he speaks the name of the Wolf in his sleep loud enough that Goldar hears him and smiles.

It had been many years since he'd last been home, but he was an exile no more. He would pay the prive for his actions, and he would pay them willingly, for his anger, his reason to hate, his father's death, no longer lay upon him, blinding him. He would become a warrior of the Linovel once more, recognised by the elders of the Crags.
He watched and waited, Ursis watching over the Hunt, and the night grew on; the moon moved over them, and the wind whispered its messages to all that would hear. They were close.

Jonas woke with a start and sat bolt upright. Looking quickly from side to side he notices Nerendar by the fire playing with his casting stones and Goldar looking at him. Calming down as he realised there was no danger to him or his band at that moment, he looked at Goldar.
"By the Wolf that was a strange dream. i could almost feel the heat from the great fire. What are you doing Nerendar?"

*Sighing Nerendar leans back, running his fingers through his hair several joints popping as he does so, as he turns to regard Jonas, the linovel realises just how old and tired the shaman may really be* "What I'm lookin' at? not a lot lad, I had the thread for a moment but you woke before I could find the weave." *Looking back to the stones on the ground in front of him Nerendar continues to speak* "Look lad, the wolf, the flame, the dark and the rage all there for the looking... if ya know how that is, but look here, all of this it just plain dinnae make any sense, Like someone stuck their hands where they don't belong..." *Gathering up his stones and replacing them in his bag, before removing a blanket and wrapping it around himself* "Either way nothin more I can do tonight, that took more outta me than it woulda used too"

"I think it is you who is sticking his hand where it does not belong. Stay out of my dreams shaman, or you will lose it." Turning from Nerendar, Jonas walks to his kit, removes his sword and walks a short way into the darkness.

Morning broke, the sun's first rays shining against the mountains, blinding as they pierced the morning's mist, lighting the dew upon the grass of the plains before them. The Mountain was close, no more than a couple of days walk from their camp, and he muttered a brief mantra under his breath.
As he stood and watched the mountain bathed in the sharp early morning light, he picked out the caves, the rocks, the little valleys on its side that he once called home. He narrowed his eyes as he caught the glint of sunlight on steel. The Linovel had sent its army! They were too late!
But no, this force was far too small, and was heading directly for them. They would meet by mid afternoon if his eyes didn't decieve him, but this was un expected. It seemed that Jajuka had put more trust in him than he had expected. He grit his teeth and prayed to Ursis to give him the strength to persuade the Elders of his honour and that his words were the truth. He would need all the strength the Bear could give him.
As he stood, he heard foot steps behind him, his Brothers in the hunt, Jonas, Dragoon, Magnus, the shaman newcomer Nerendar, and the townsman Katsumoto come to watch, drawn as if by a rope towards the sight of the mountain. Home...

Jonas walked up to Goldars side. Placing his hand on his shoulder he looked him in the eye. He could see there the same as was no doubt in his. Pride. The pride of his homeland and of his people. Much they have endured to get this far and now they stand, only a few days from their goal. From their home. Looking once again towards the mountian he spoke to The Hunt. "Soon we shall have what we have fought so hard to have. We shall be with our people. The elders wait for our words with great anticipation i dont doubt. They shall know what we have suffered and endured to get here. I am proud to stand by all of you who fought to get here." He stepped forward, the shining grass flattening underfoot only to rise again. Jonas looked down at where his foot was only a second before. He watched the grass rise again. He thought of his comrades, his brothers in arms, how much they were like the blades now standing upright. No matter what was thrown at them, be it dragon or man, they shall prevail. They shall rise again and again in victory. "We go home, brothers. To the lands of our people. Our home." Offering a prayer to the Wise Wolf, Machias, Jonas walked on, Goldar behind him placed a strong hand on his shoulder. They look at eachother, smile and say at the same time that which they have sought for so long. "Home."
