..The first night (the fact that so many people turned up just after NYE to a venue that was off the beaten track) the lovely bar staff, the 2 years when the back room seemed to attract the most attractive girls in Brum, the 6 months where the backroom seemed to virtually turn into a gay club, the period when the trediest people in Brum would attend, but even better the period just after that when everyone would get up on the seats on the sides, the podiums and proper have it, the taxi scramble outside, playing Kate Bush at the end of the night, playing tracks like drop the pressure, we are your friends, waters of nazereth for the first time to sweaty, chemically inclined party people.. x |

My God, those Photos bought back some fantastic memories as did all the above comments. I completly agree with Jon on the way Birmingham's prettiest girls somehow would fortnightly make there way down to subway city. Shaun Walsh really put some pride back into the Birmingham music/club scene. i may add some other memories on here at a later date but one i will leave is...Wheeleys Road. 05/06 were the best days. |

Memories? The very first allnighter is one and turning around on the dancefloor one night to be face to face with Mani would be another. Too be honest my memory is sketchy concerning specific incidents I just remember having a great time with great people. The best part is most of those people are now close friends of mine so it looks like the good times are set to continue! Whoop! http://www.myspace.com/tubez7 Going strong since 1981 |
