right got into quite a lengthy debate at work as one of me colleagues noticed me eating my apple. i am one of the persons who in the current economic climate doesnt like to see waste so i chomp down the whole thing. spit the pips out obviously but its all edible so i dunno what the fuss is about. colleague was not impressed an labelled me a gypo and freak. there must be others who munch the whole thing an dont just take a cheeky nibble. also got into argument about best type of apple. i plumped for Braeburn as usually crisp and right mixture of sweetness and sour tang. let battle commence....

I think your from the posh end of town to be honest, if I'm gonna chomp the core I'm gonna eat the pips! I'll have to leave the stalk however!

Braeburn's and G.Smith's are top of the pops. Eating the core? What's that all about?

Due to the ol' falsey, eating an apple in the traditional manner is a reet chore for yours truely. It's a case of having to use a knife to cut it up into more tooth-friendly portions. Such is life.
Useless trivia: Apple pips contain trace amounts of cyanide!
