Here was what guitarist Fred Ped had to say on www.ramones.com "Johnny was a huge influence on me and The Peds. Our cover of "Death Of Me" was a huge hit at live performances and I continue to play the song to this day. The idea to take the bands name as our last name came directly from the Ramones. Many years ago I got to meet the band when they performed with Antiseen in Charlotte NC. Joey & Johnny were very nice and took time for pictures." |
