I put up a border on a wall that had texture. I am now trying to remove it I used DIF and it mostly came off but there are still some sections that have fibers I can't get off. I am painting now and it really shows badly. Please help!! Thanks, DeeDee |

Hello Dee Dee, It is hard to visualize what is happening there. When I remove border I remove the vinyl facing and than the backing usually can be wet a couple times and removed. You may be able to sand off the fiber you are referring to. If the wall was a smooth surface you could skim coat some spackle over as well. Hope this helps, John Aufiero The Art Of Wallpapering Give Your Home The Warmth And Beauty You Desire ! Http://www.paperyourwalls.com http://www.paperhangit.com The Art Of Wallpapering |
