Hello Paul,
For stairways I use a method that my father used and his father used. It may sound pretty simplistic but it works. With angles on a stairway there will be allot of waste. All I do is count how many strips it will take. Every 2 strips is a double roll or every strip is a single roll. Wallpaper here usually comes in double rolls. I usually walk around using a standard 21' width and count 1,2-2 1,2-4 1,2-6 1,2-8 . That would have been 8 rolls.
As far as the book on my site . it is an E-book that you can down load in 2 different formats on your computer and can be printed or just read on your computer.
