What advice can you give me on how to handle wallpapering a rounded inside corner. I have two "corners" in my bathroom that are rounded and make a 145 degree turn (ie, less than a full 90 degress). The corners are very rounded, with the turn extending over a 6 inch length of the wall. When my wife and I hung the paper everything went fine until we looked at the job the next morning - the paper shrank a bit, pulling away from the wall in a very unhappy (for us) fashion. We're using a prepasted vinyl wallpaper and we made every effort not to stretch the paper. What can we do to paper these difficult corners? Any advice is very much appreciated! |

Hello Michael, There are a couple things that can be done on these rounded corners. One thing I like to do is brush some vinly over vinly adhesive or border adhesive or a clay adhesive on the wall a few minutes prior to hanging the strip that will hit the rounded corner. This helps to pull the paper in when drying. Also alot of times I dont wrap those corners. I handle them like a normal corner. I wrap about an eighth of an inch and over lap the remainder and level it. Use vinyl over vinyl on the over lap.
