Sabrina	posted 11/19/03 8:10 PM     Does anyone have a copy of Martin Short's "Concert for the North Americas"? It was a 60 minute 1985 Showtime special and was Martin Short's first live concert. Please help!
ana	posted 1/21/04 6:50 AM       Hi. I am looking for the same show. I once had every line memorized. It was so funny. I know one person in San Francisco who had all the Martin Short stuff on video. (Including those Showtime specials) I do know where he is working now and could conceivably find him but the problem is that I may have permanently borrowed one of the tapes. It was a long time ago and I don’t remember. Thus I’d feel a little shy about asking for more video. grrrr. You could ask though. Maybe I’ll pass your email along to him and you could be the broker…. Let me know if you find them. I'll do the same if you email me.

John	posted 8/21/04 2:14 AM     Hey all! I apologize for not responding sooner, I have been moving to a different state and time has been scarce. I am currently making duplicate copies (having them made for me from my original) of the Martin Short special and I will be selling these at the end of September 2004. I know you all have been waiting so patiently and this tape is definitely worth the wait. I will post as soon as I have some copies ready for sale. I will have enough for each of you so start getting excited. I have so many memories of this special and I have it memorized as well. Excuse me gents..Jackie needs a squirt of Bactine! How many times have I told people..I don't like to be hugged (Hulk Hogan)!! I got a lot of demons that keep me up at night, but hard work ain't one of them (Jerry Lewis in "A Tender Fella"). John	posted 8/25/04 7:28 PM     Bob-- My copies are supposed to be ready on the 16th of Sept. The 20th would be cutting it close. You should be able to have one the week of the 20th, but not necessarily on that day.

Mona Lidji	posted 9/27/04 4:40 AM     I found my old vhs copy of the concert for the north americas! Yeah!!! It was recorded off of t.v. when it aired, and I need to make copies of it. They will definitely be bootlegged, but the commercials are pretty well cut out.

To be more specific; it was with Jackie Rogers Jr. and the one with him as a character named Dale O'Daly or something singing about the man in the moon. We had a copy on Betamax and lost it in Hurricane Andrew. Dying to replace. John Mo	posted 9/11/08 6:55 PM       This is one of the funniest things that I have ever seen on tv. Why it is still not out on dvd is beyond me. I'm sure a lot of people viewing it today wouldn't "get" it (Doug Henning, who these days even knows him?). But I could rattle off just about the whole thing (mushbrain, think, think, think). Too many hilariuos moments to list. Please come to dvd with extras!!
