Less than a week after he appeared on David Letterman, telling everyone to come see the play, the play closed. I had tickets to see him four days after it closed...not knowing this I went to the theatre only to find locked doors with info on getting the tickets refunded. So how do I get refunded for my time and the cost to get there and park??? I used to like Martin Short, that's why I bought the tickets to his play....now, I think differently. Since he can close a play, without notice and with no regard for the paying audience, says very little of this man. If he ever does a play again, I certainly won't be spending the time or money to see it. Fool me once shame on you...... |

He didn't close it without some notice. It was all over the internet that the offical last day was January 7th and that refunds could be made for tickets purchased for afterward shows. Although it was sudden, it wasn't Martin's choice. |

You say there was notice....funny....days after Jan 11th, when logging onto ticketmaster, there's was still no mention of the play being closed. Also, he was on David Letterman Jan 2nd and instead of telling the audience that the play was closing Jan 7th, he told them all to go see it. Since it was from the horse's mouth, I didn't bother to check the internet to see if it was closing....silly me. |
