when i worked at hallmark, it was no easy job. i was the man of the store,
they used me to do all the hard things
to keep the store running. i worked at 3 locations. lakeside mainly, carrrolton shopping center and transcontinental. owned by the same people. I also ran the register and did
the sissy tings like the ladies.
Hallmark stores employ mainly women.
Bad andy worked there and for dominos
pizza. dominos like to shift people around too but my home base was on harrison avenue which was a very busy dominos with walkins and orders for the lakeview area.

Ive had a bunch of other jobs but ive never worked at any place for over a year. when i lived in west end subdivision with laurie, i worked stock at robert's supermarket, blockbuster video, marina grill, and gordons of metairie which is where ann rice came in to get decorations for her halloween party. I walked with her around the store for 20 minutes helping her select tings for decorations. Im sure she had other big things, but she needed some simple decorations too. I already had other halloween plans so I didnt say anything about going to her fancy party, but we talked ann was friends for 20 minutes.

Ive met lots of celebrities down here in new orleans, but that topic isnt very interesting so Im not going to cover that in much detail, other than it was just that ive had some casual meetings and stuff with some, a bunch
of celebrities, nothing major.
New Orleans is a popular place for them to visit.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 9:51 AM
david letterman use to have folks stand up in the audience and talk about if they met a celebrity. He called it brushes with greatness.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 10:08 AM
I guess the most influential person i ever met was Jay Leno. My dad and I got into the pebble beach auto show in 2001. I talked to him throughout the day, well as long as he was there. Most folks there dont bother with that. He had some of his cars in the show because hes super rich. I think letterman drives a ford taurus or something, i never met letterman. I won
a lottery ticket to his show, but the people got in line way early. So I went
to visit Rupert Jee then drowned my sorrow at a bar across the strett.
Ya have a 1 and 3 chance of getting the ticket, but they give out many more than the audience has seats. So ya have to get there like 10 hours ahead of time to get in. Unless you order them and wait months to get them.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 10:13 AM
I also saw the jay leno show and sat in the 2nd row, but didnt meet him. That was a separate occasion, then I went to the later tapings and saw the dad from frasier, the gay son, and the girl, not daphne but the other one,
they filmed 2 separate episodes back to back. Im talkin about the Later tv show.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 10:20 AM
I had to use wikipedia to refresh my memory. Her name is Peri Gilpin.
Leno the main guest was Shannon Daugherty. Its easy to go see Jay Leno,
they just give the tickets away at Universal Citywalk or wherever. If you get there a little early you can sit up front. Thats the LA attitude, this is why they have no fotball team. Just joking. i tink.
In LA basketball is the king, they like baseball too.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 10:29 AM
in new york i met the snls in the basement at 30 rock. in the late 90s
before maya n them.
Then Max Weinberg came down, he was so friendly, he wanted me to go eat with him but I declined. I wasnt up to it and laurie said we needed to go anyway.
I talked to him about 10 minutes.
Ken Stabler also invited me to go eat with him and rose one time in new orleans but i turned that down. I was waitin for my ride at the Superdome
which was laurie again.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 10:33 AM
Ken Stabler lived in new orleans after he retired from the saints his wife was the local weather lady rose stabler. I also told yall about karen carlson, i sat in a french quarter bar
with her
after she did a news report. She used to work here before she went out to LA.
now the hot weather chick in mayapinion

I have no explanation for fotball team other than i sometimes mispeel tings because i type fast, usually in the dark without being too careful.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 10:46 AM
that was an accident.
i meant misspell what a word to misspell. Im not sure how to spell mispell either.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 10:54 AM
the saints need to beat oakland so you can probably count on a victory but not the pointspread.
Just make a friendly wager with somebody who likes the raiders.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 10:59 AM
Im not sure what the pointsprad is but since we have homefield and a better team. I personally think the saints should be a 7 point favorite.
but since they both have low records it will probably be 4.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 11:06 AM
I went to 1 saints roadgame, against the pittsburgh steelers on nov. 10, 1978
we lost 20-14.

wikipedia says russel pased for 2797
lsu site says 3129 in 06
which was the only year he wore #2
flynn played a little bit, like a games worth of total passes.
perilloux threw 1 pass.
the year after that as everybody remembers from all the nationally televised games flynn and perilloux shuffled in a couple of those games but flynn played the majority of the time.
i knew he wore #2 anyway, i just didnt remember it right at that moment.
i remember in 06 they also nationally televised several lsu games. I watched em all both years. I might have missed 1 or 2 combined from both seasons. I always watch the lsu games
if theyre on tv unless im too tired.
Then i listen to the others on the radio. I havent been to an LSU game though since 2002. I would have but I didnt have the money to go on my own.
My dad says yea the games are all sold out although they didnt heat up until
mid 03 when folks saw it coming.
I predicted it that year ahead of time.
2003 sounded like the right year numerically which it was, plus it was an even 45 years since the last time.
I just knew.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 2:03 PM
i dont like people to think i made a mistake, but most people forget those things anyway because theres too many other things to think about.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 2:14 PM
I said athis website back in 04 or 05
i didnt think lsu would win another national championship again for a long time, but i said they might finish 2nd
just not win it al because i didnt want the millenial structure to be unbalanced, but of course Im glad they won anyway. I was pulling them to do it too when I knew they had a legitimate chance to do it. I definitely wanted to beat Ohio State
and be wrong about what i once typed on this website. Now the question is
03 and 07 good enough, yeah the balance still seems ok. So should it stay that way or should they keep racking em up. Like right now do I want them to win the national championship. Again if it comes into view in a few weeks id say yes.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 2:17 PM
if i typed it in 04 they must not have been in a position to win back to back because I would have wanted that.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 2:20 PM
so since they can win 2 in a row this year id say yes lets win it again this year, but it wont bother me if they dont. As long as they finish high up and go to a good bowl, but 2 in a row would be a great ting to happen.
I dont really care anymore if they win SEC because theyve done that at least
twice as of late at a higher pace than before the year 2000.
andy n. posted 10/10/08 2:30 PM
