I worked with Francis back in the mid-"80's. I was a young kid away from home and she had me over for Sunday lunches while letting me do my laundry at her home. I met her very intelligent children that she was very proud of. Anybody who can get in touch with her for me please do and let her know her kindness and friendship has been one of the times in my life I find truly rewarding and remember so fondly with smiles. I am also trying to reconnect with Frances. We worked together with the community organizing program ACORN, and kept our bodies nourishes by sharing housecleaning jobs on the side. I have tried several searches for her since Katrina, but without success |
