I heard a song sampling Big Chief on this week's episode of Entourage on HBO. Turns out the song is Knock Em Out by a British, teenage pop star named Lily Allen. Her first single was #1 in the UK. Do you think they got permission to use the sample? |

Yeah - I heard it a while back and emailed his lawyer in regards to just that. It seems that Fess has a playing credit but the song belongs to Earl King. It is still being looked into as to whether or not she had permission to use the clip though. I'll update here as I find out more. |
