We were pleasantly, to say the least, surprised to be hailed the winners of Division 3 this year. I know there are still issues as to how many teams will be resistering for next season, but a couple of years ago we finished 2nd and missed out on promotion due to the re-organisation. Please put in a good word for the Black Horse at any meetings. We really are a nice team, and provide excellent sausage and chip barms as refreshment. How could you NOT want us Div 2 ? Based on your refreshments, I would put you in division 1. The best of luck to you and I hope that you do make it to division 2. |

Ian,I play for Triangle's quiz team and apart from being well fed, I can remember how welcome we felt when we played at your place a few seasons ago.We only narrowly beat you by two points but it was a good night.As to this season,I kept an eye on the third division's results and found it intriguing to observe that no less than 8 teams had a chance of promotion going into the last set of fixtures. You have my vote for going into Division 2 after emerging from a tough league. Talking of promotion,my own team somehow managed to finish runners-up this season.Reality will of course hit home next season when we take on the elite of Division One.Dick Dastardly has more chance of winning a Wacky Race than we have of surviving at the top.Should be fun though. |
